Similar public consultation meetings in the project affected panchayats have been conducted in Kot and Firnu villages under Tewan and Sarahan panchayats on 08.10.2010, Jashi and Bharara villages under Karyali panchayat on 26.11.2010, Jhunjan village under panchayat Mogra on 30.11.2010 and Talah village in Vanahari panchayat on 30.11.2010. these issues were explained to them in detail. Community Development programmes in the area under LADC were also discussed in the meetings. Meetings were held in very co-ordial atmosphere and the villagers assured full co-operation to the project.
