Final Environment Clearance was considered by EAC/MOEF during its meeting held on 16.07.11. As per the minutes of meeting issued by MOEF on 18.08.11, EAC asked to submit some additional information/documents. The same was submitted to MOEF, GOI on 26.09.11. The case for Environmental Clearance of NMHEP has been reconsidered by EAC on 27.12.11. EAC sought some more information which has been submitted to MoEF on 30.12.11. |

For land of all the three villages i.e. Bainol, Naitwar & Gainchwan Guan, notices to the land owners have been issued US-IX by DM, Uttarkashi.
Matter is being regularly taken up with the DM office regarding deputation of LAO which is now held up due to declaration of elections. |
