Unit-3 (800 MW) of Buxar Thermal Power Project has been envisaged within the existing project area as part of the long-term pipeline of projects. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) was prepared and submitted to the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) on 19.10.2024. Further, the process of obtaining statutory clearances is underway, and tender documents are under preparation.
